The sun came out today. We practically scrambled out the door to soak some of it up. It was cold, but it felt so good to get outside!
The afternoon's light played with our shadows a bit, so we decided to take a family portrait.
Funny, huh?
That's me, holding up the camera. You know, the one in the big puffy coat. Ahem.
I thought the pictures were cute, but I wasn't going to post them because they make me look...well... large. Of course, I told Andy that and he immediately broke out into a rendition of Carly Simon's You're So Vain.
So I'm posting them. :)
But not without a something more... redeeming. Or gee- maybe that's not the word I'm looking for here. Andy, of course, played along.
Full disclosure: I stood sideways, and I sucked in my stomach as far as it would go.
Honestly, I could barely breathe.
Andy could barely hold the camera still for all the laughing.
Gosh, we are a weird lot, aren't we? :)
Happy weekend!
Maybe "largeness" is a sign of things to come. You know, the blessing and temporary largeness kind. :)
