This post documents every book I read in 2011. Please don't consider it a list of recommendations. Some I would recommend, many I would not. Look for my "Year in Books" post on Thursday- that's where I'll give you the scoop on what was awesome (and what really just wasn't).

That's quite a lengthy list!:) The one I'm reading right now is called "The Dovekeepers". It's about 4 women living in the time of ancient Israel. I am really enjoying it, although there are some violent parts that are a bit difficult to get through. It's historicl fiction though, which is one of my favoite genres. You might want to look it up and see what you think.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading your reviews... my weakness is buying books but... doesn't hurt to just look, right??? Merry CHristmas!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, Sarah. I read Unplanned totally at your recommendation, because I had been hearing about it from all over, and thought maybe it was just well-marketed. But I trusted your sincere reaction, and found it eye-opening as well.
ReplyDeleteI am considering (gack!) not buying any more books this year, because I've got so many I haven't yet read. Not sure if I'm courageous enough to share last year's list in its entirety, but you have me thinking of a future post...
Thank you! It's ALWAYS a pleasure to visit your little space.
Wow! And I thought I read a lot... Well, probably not as much since I was a bit younger...
ReplyDeleteDisneyland books? Hmmm... Don't forget to contact your Disney-crazy cousin before making plans... For the things they don't even print in those books! I have a cousin on mom's side that worked both at Disneyland and on the Disney cruise line and she was always telling me I knew more about Disney than they even taught her!
Keep up the good work!
