Manual Mode Monday 12/52

F 2.8, 1/4000, ISO 160

I'm working on my photography skills by taking a picture in Manual mode every week for a year. Link to your own manually-shot photography in the comments- I love to see what you've done.

    1. Ha! It hasn't actually fallen in a couple of weeks. Maybe more? But we still have big frozen solid piles on the sides of our driveway. Actually if you go up one street in our neighborhood, those folks have a foot covering their yards! It's all about where the sun hits.

On this beautiful day, it was 43 degrees so we were in heaven! :)

  2. I just love that blonde curly hair!

Here is my latest picture. I took it just before the sun went down.

  3. Now that I can finally get some manual shots to turn out something other than all black or all white I will join the fun. Come see my bowl of fruit and I will try for something more original next week!

  4. P.S. Loved the balloon reflection of your "landmark" (can you tell I've been reading Scott Kelby?)

    1. I don't think I know what you mean....? Maybe I need to read some more Scott Kelby! ;)

    2. Kelby's Digital Photography Books 1-4 are on the reading list under your photography tab - that's how I know of them!

  5. I love that photo. Such a great story, and very homey.

I posted a chicken soup recipe (best ever!) with some manual shots. http://www.californiatokorea.com/2013/02/chicken-soup-recipe-you-can-thank-me.html

    Have a great week!
