Manual Mode Monday 13/52

F 3.2, 1/400, ISO 4000

I'm working on my photography skills by taking a picture in Manual mode every week for a year. Link to your own manually-shot photography in the comments- I love to see what you've done.

  2. Isn't big brother love the best, such a delight to witness?

I have a purple tulip up today! Last week I experimented with my macro lens, butcher paper as a backdrop, and a spray bottle. Forgot to post the recipe, though.

I also brought my camera to the indoor trampoline place and will post some freeze frames later this week!

    1. Ha! Me too! :) I was fooling around with my camera and Snap told me to "look, quick". Posy was loving all over him. Then, this. And I was so excited that my camera settings were right and that I captured it, that I squealed with glee! ;)

For what it's worth, Snap is the only person she will currently kiss. And when she kisses him, she KISSES him. Obviously! :)

  5. Aww so cute. My boys would never have put up with a slobbery baby kiss. Glad to see somebody does.

    1. Funny thing is Snap is the one who used to gag at the sight of baby drool. Before we had Posy, if a friend's baby came over and put his/her mouth on ANYTHING, Snap would throw it in the garbage. He was so grossed out.

      I'd say Posy's changed him, yes? :)

    1. Great shots. It's hard to get snow to look that white, especially without post-processing. Good job!

    2. Thank you Sarah!
Yes, I have Kateri (Kiki). We have decided on that name long before we had children. I do love that name and we are blessed to live close to Saint Kateri's shrine! ( 6 hours:))

  8. Heart. Melting!

I accidentally have material to share for this, so yay :) http://www.houseunseen.com/2013/02/everybody-vent-now.html

I was in manual for all of them, but I like the bottom one the best with the sunflare. I think it was ISO 100, f22 , 1/80 . I think.
