I'm working on my photography skills by taking a picture in Manual mode every week for a year. Link to your own manually-shot photography in the comments- I love to see what you've done.

Oh goody! I love comments! The spammers are working overtime just now, so I've had to enable that blasted word verification box- I'm sorry. Please leave me a comment anyway- I'm hungry for them. :)
If you have any trouble commenting, please email me at amongstlovelythings [at] gmail [dot] com so I can fix the bugs. :)
And hey- I'm glad you're here. :)
Melts my heart. Those hands! Sibling love is the best.

Isn't big brother love the best, such a delight to witness?
ReplyDeleteI have a purple tulip up today! Last week I experimented with my macro lens, butcher paper as a backdrop, and a spray bottle. Forgot to post the recipe, though.

I also brought my camera to the indoor trampoline place and will post some freeze frames later this week!
Love the droplets of water. :)
DeleteSo, so sweet, Sarah, I love this!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeletecutest picture ever!! i'm so impressed that you captured the moment in manual mode...
ReplyDeleteHa! Me too! :) I was fooling around with my camera and Snap told me to "look, quick". Posy was loving all over him. Then, this. And I was so excited that my camera settings were right and that I captured it, that I squealed with glee! ;)
DeleteFor what it's worth, Snap is the only person she will currently kiss. And when she kisses him, she KISSES him. Obviously! :)
That is so cute! Love it!
DeleteAww so cute. My boys would never have put up with a slobbery baby kiss. Glad to see somebody does.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is Snap is the one who used to gag at the sight of baby drool. Before we had Posy, if a friend's baby came over and put his/her mouth on ANYTHING, Snap would throw it in the garbage. He was so grossed out.
DeleteI'd say Posy's changed him, yes? :)
Oh my goodness! That's just ooozing adorableness!!
ReplyDeleteSo smooshy and cute!
ReplyDeleteHelplessly SWEET!
ReplyDeleteHere are mine http://kingamonika.blogspot.com/2013/02/going-back-to-routine-on-manual-mode.html
I do not process my pictures, yet...:)
Great shots. It's hard to get snow to look that white, especially without post-processing. Good job!
DeleteThank you Sarah!
DeleteYes, I have Kateri (Kiki). We have decided on that name long before we had children. I do love that name and we are blessed to live close to Saint Kateri's shrine! ( 6 hours:))
Goodness! So, so cute.
ReplyDeleteMost adorable thing ever!
ReplyDeleteHeart. Melting!
ReplyDeleteI accidentally have material to share for this, so yay :) http://www.houseunseen.com/2013/02/everybody-vent-now.html
I was in manual for all of them, but I like the bottom one the best with the sunflare. I think it was ISO 100, f22 , 1/80 . I think.
... look at her cup his face. Adorable. Precious! So cute, my gosh.
ReplyDeleteAbsolute cuteness! How sweet they are!
ReplyDeleteohmygoodness. It doesn't get more precious than that!!
